“Alan Turing Year 2012 – India Celebrations”

3-Day Faculty Development Program on

”Alan M. Turing – Simplification in Intelligent Computing Theory and Algorithms“ 

 

As a part of the India Celebrations of the Birth Centenary of Alan M. Turing, Foundation for Advancement of Education and Research (FAER) in association with Computer Society of India is organizing a 3-day Faculty Development Program in Bangalore during 18.12.2012 - 20.12.2012. The program includes lectures by eminent speakers on Turing, Cryptography, Computing, Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence etc as well as a Panel Discussion.

Faculty from the disciplines of Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology and related fields and practicing professionals from Research Labs and Industries are invited.

Call for Research Papers:

  • Researchers from Institutes, Universities, Research Labs, and Industries are invited to submit original research papers on the above theme.

  • Authors of selected papers will be invited to present their contributions during the Program.

  • The research papers must be primarily in the area of Theoretical Foundations of Computing. The topics include but are not limited to the following:

    • Computability

    • Formal languages, Grammars

    • Cryptography, steganography

    • Complexity, Algorithms, Limitations

    • Knowledge Representation, Semantic analysis, Logic systems, Machine Intelligence

  • The paper must follow the standard IEEE formatting guidelines and must not exceed, including figures and references, 8 pages of A4 size.

Last Date for draft submission:

30.09.2012

Intimation of Acceptance:

30.10.2012

Last date for receipt of final print-ready papers:

30.11.2012
